Laser:

By default you start with the laser, it has unlimited ammo. The laser is a weak weapon, it isn't a very good attacking weapon, the laser is more a jumping/pushing tool, and you can use the laser to do laser jumps. You can do laser jumps by aiming at your feet and shooting, doing it this way doesn't allow you to jump as high as you can. To jump as high as you can you have to aim at the ground and shoot then soon after jump.

Laser Tips and Tricks:
The laser is not a good fighting tool
You can climb walls with lasers by:
1. Walk to a wall
2. Aim at where the wall meets the floor
3. Hold forward and shoot

Shotgun:

This is another default starting weapon, but it doesn't have unlimited ammo like the laser. You will notice that the shotgun is a weak weapon, but if you use correctly it can effective. The shotgun has two firing types primary fire and secondary fire, the secondary shoots a few fast shots, the primary fire shoots a single shot.

Shotgun Tips and Tricks:
The secondary fire on a shot gunshoots faster but gives you less time to aim at them.
To do a shotgun combo, use the primary fire then the secondary fire, it's rather effective.

Machine Gun:

The machine gun is a simple weapon to use; it too has a primary and secondary fire. The machine guns primary fire is great to use in up close combat. It also pays to use it with strength, because of its wide spread shots, this will give you a better chance of hitting them when your near the enemy.

Machine Guns Tips and Tricks:
When you are using the machine gun you will find that long distance shots with the primary fire are useless. To be able to hit targets from a long distance away, use the secondary fire. It fires off rounds a lot slower, but is more precise when you are aiming.

Crylink:

The crylink has never been a stable weapon; it has been modified many times. The crylink is another not too great weapon, but if it is use correctly it has the potential to be devastating. The crylink has two fire types primary and secondary, the primary fire is fast and compacted, but the secondary fire is a straight line of cells.

Crylink Tips and Tricks:
You can make good frags with the crylink, if you use this tactic. Wear their health down first with the primary fire then, finish them off with the wide spread secondary fire.

Grenade launcher:

The grenade launcher, is refered to in game as the mortar, it lobs grenades with it's primary fire, and with its secondary fire it launches grenades which have a set amount of time until the explode, or if a enemy touches it.

Grenade launcher Tips and Tricks:
In combat, aim for the lower part of the enemies body. If someone following you but you've had too low health to go into combat? With the grenade launcher you can walk around a corner and use the secondary fire to create a trap for your enemy, so when the following enemy walks around the corner they'll explode.

Hagar:

The hagar is a fast firing and painful weapon. It needs to be aimed at the opponents feet. This will make the rockets explode at their feet still doing damage.

Hagar Tips and Tricks:
The best use for the hagars secondary fire is to bounce it around a corner to get a following enemy, by bouncing it off a wall then around the corner.

Electro:

The electro I think is one of the coolest weapons nexuiz has. It has a good primary and secondary fire. The secondary are little balls, which some people have noticed are the same a the grappling hook in 2.3

Electro Tips and Tricks:
When using the electro, use it's secondary fire and fire about six to ten balls at your enemy, then use the primary fire to explode the balls, this make a great flash and explosion. Beware; make sure you are far enough away.

Nex:

The nex, is a great weapon to be able to master, because it is one of the best fraging tools, it you can make a head shot, you've just made a instant frag! this is good because, you can make faster kills, with less damage to your self.

Nex Tips and Tricks:
Even though the nex is a powerful weapon, nothing beats having a shot range weapon, in case you can't land that shot on the enemy.

Rocket Launcher:

The rocket launcher (RL) is the stongest weapon, that is why it never changes if you have auto-switch on, because it is the most powerful.

RL Tips and Tricks:
When using the RL there is no secondary fire, that is because the secondary fire detinates the primary fire. When you are in battle, aim where the enemy is moving, then fire, once the enemy is near the rocket press the secondary fire and it will detonate next to them.
