strategy, game theory, mind games..

I'm not sure if i posted those already or just mentioned to a few people on irc.. There are some old but interesting reads over at esrealty.com:
http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1378831
http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1335944

I added a link to this thread to the sticky "basics" post as i think thats stuff people interested in more intense gameplay should know about and i'm also trying to add something about finding out the best strategy for a given map in ctf.. http://alientrap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1344

What do you think about playing? Is it just for fun, is it more fun if you play with strategy and try to read your opponents mind, can you out think him or do you think the better aiming wins?

Opening these links reveals a huge gray area and Mr.T on the upper right side of the screen :? I suppose, you have to be registered.

I read the first ones, and liked them. It was pretty interesting, I never compared duels to chess before. :)

It seems the links in my first post work again. I also made them two lines so its easier to see there are two links. With the upcomming tourney that should be valuable reads so i want to kickoff the debate again.

BTW those are the other links i was searching for:

http://www.ggl.com/index.php?controller ... le&id=2085
